QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering Supply Chain Management Procurement or a related discipline
- 4 8 years of experience procuring materials equipment and spare parts
- At least 3 years within the Marine or Shipping industry
- Exposure to vessel requirements and time-critical marine operations
- Sound understanding of procurement processes supply chain operations and materials management
- CIPS ISM or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred
- Marine equipment, vessel spare parts, and technical materials sourcing
- Supplier quotation review and commercial evaluation
- Purchase order processing and delivery coordination
- Urgent vessel requisition management
- Vendor negotiation, cost control, and supplier evaluation
- SAP or similar e-procurement system proficiency
- Tendering, compliance, audit, and performance-monitoring knowledge
- Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder coordination capabilities
