What you ll do on a typical day
Procurement amp Supplier Coordination Source and obtain quotations from suppliers for yard-related materials services and equipment Prepare supplier comparison sheets evaluating pricing lead times and commercial terms to support procurement decisions Create and process Purchase Orders POs ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and approval workflows Review supplier shipping documents and verify compliance with PO and contractual requirements before authorizing shipment release Logistics amp Goods Receiving Prepare and manage shipping export and import documentation related to yard operations Receive and inspect incoming goods verifying quantities quality and condition against purchase orders and delivery documentation Identify and report discrepancies shortages or damaged items coordinating corrective actions with suppliers where necessary Administrative amp Operational Support Maintain and regularly update customer price lists ensuring accurate and current pricing information is available to the sales team Prepare and maintain accurate timesheets for yard employees as well as hired or rented equipment Provide administrative support to the Yard Manager including correspondence filing scheduling and record management Maintain well-organized physical and digital records to support audit compliance and operational requirements What you ll need to be successful Experience amp Knowledge 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement logistics operations administration or warehouse yard management Previous experience within the construction formwork scaffolding or related industrial sectors is highly desirable Familiarity with procurement processes supplier management purchase orders and shipping documentation Skills amp Competencies Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including data management comparison sheets and basic formulas Good command of written and spoken English Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple recurring administrative processes while meeting deadlines High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders Trustworthy and professional when handling confidential commercial pricing and supplier information What you'll need to be successful:
Experience & Knowledge: 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement, logistics, operations administration, or warehouse/yard management.
Previous experience within the construction, formwork, scaffolding, or related industrial sectors is highly desirable.
Familiarity with procurement processes, supplier management, purchase orders, and shipping documentation.

Competencies:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data management, comparison sheets, and basic formulas.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple recurring administrative processes while meeting deadlines.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Trustworthy and professional when handling confidential commercial, pricing, and supplier information.
