- bachelor’s degree in electrical, Instrumentation Engineering, or related discipline. 8–12+ years of procurement and sourcing experience for Electrical and Instrumentation systems within EPC or Oil & Gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical equipment, instrumentation packages, control systems, and related procurement processes.
- Procurement process, RFQ preparation, technical and commercial bid evaluation, vendor prequalification, supplier negotiation, expediting, logistics, Incoterms, commercial terms and conditions, subcontracting, supplier performance, procurement planning, coordination with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, Planning and Finance.
- Reviewing engineering deliverables and material requisitions.
- Proven experience in procurement strategy development, vendor prequalification, bid evaluation, and contract negotiations.
- Preparing RFQs and bid documentation.
- Identifying qualified suppliers and subcontractors.
- Conducting technical and commercial bid evaluations.
- Preparing bid tabulations and award recommendations.
- Reviewing compliance with specifications and project requirements.
- Expediting engineering documents and material deliveries.
- Coordinating inspections and factory acceptance tests (FAT), where applicable.
- Managing logistics and delivery schedules.
- Coordinating with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, Planning, Commercial and Finance.
- Managing supplier performance and resolving procurement issues.
- Ensuring compliance with project schedules and procurement procedures.
