The Procurement Officer is responsible for managing the procurement of materials, services, equipment, and subcontracting requirements for Baraha Town, a mixed-use development. The role will coordinate with internal departments, tenants, suppliers, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely sourcing, competitive pricing, quality, and delivery of procurement requirements while supporting the smooth operation and development of the property.
Responsibilities- Process approved Purchase Requisition s (PRs) and service/subcontract requests for Baraha Town, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and properly coordinated.
- Source and coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and service providers for materials, equipment, maintenance, fit-out works, and other operational requirements.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and prepare comparative statements with recommendations for management approval.
- Coordinate with end users, property management, facilities, operations, tenants, and contractors regarding specifications, quality, delivery schedules, and site requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend suitable suppliers and subcontractors based on pricing, quality, capability, experience, and ability to meet Baraha Town's requirements.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders, supplier/subcontractor agreements, and related documentation, coordinating with Legal and the relevant approving authorities as required.
- Monitor deliveries and service completion, follow up on supplier payments with Finance, and maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records.
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably within mixed-use developments, retail, shopping malls, hospitality, property management, or facilities management
. Experience in retail or mixed-use development is highly preferred. - Strong experience in sourcing, supplier and contractor management, quotation evaluation, price negotiation, Purchase Orders, and contracts.
- Experience handling procurement requirements related to property operations, maintenance, fit-out works, retail, facilities, and general project requirements
, with the ability to coordinate effectively with tenants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments. - Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, and proficiency in English.
