About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, commercially focused, and results-driven Procurement Officer to join our Procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, purchasing, and coordinating the timely delivery of materials, equipment, consumables, and services required for our General Trading, Facilities Management, Catering Operations, and Office Administration.
The ideal candidate should possess strong negotiation skills, supplier management experience, and the ability to achieve cost savings while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
Key ResponsibilitiesManaging the end-to-end procurement process from purchase requisition to delivery.
Sourcing reliable local and international suppliers for goods and services.
Obtaining competitive quotations and preparing comparative analysis for management approval.
Negotiating prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and service agreements.
Issuing Purchase Orders (POs) and monitoring supplier performance to ensure timely delivery.
Procuring materials for General Trading, Facilities Management, Catering, and Office Operations.
Coordinating with internal departments to understand procurement requirements and operational priorities.
Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely replenishment of stock.
Maintaining accurate procurement records, supplier databases, contracts, and documentation.
Evaluating supplier performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Ensuring compliance with company procurement policies, budgets, and quality standards.
Identifying cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and effective negotiations.
Desired Candidate ProfileBachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of procurement experience.
Experience in General Trading, Facilities Management, Hospitality, Catering, Construction, or Industrial Procurement is preferred.
Previous GCC/Qatar experience will be an advantage.
