Qatar Airways Cargo, the world's largest global air cargo carrier, is hiring a Cargo Inventory Management Manager to oversee network capacity and revenue optimization from its Doha headquarters. The role focuses on driving network margins across passenger bellyhold and dedicated freighter operations through advanced revenue management, overbooking controls, and capacity allocation strategies.

You design and execute strategic inventory controls to maximize cargo profitability across the global flight network. You balance capacity distribution between long-term customer allotments and dynamic free-sales capacity, utilizing no-show trends and demand forecasting to establish calibrated overbooking risk levels.

You establish analytical performance review frameworks to monitor route profitability, evaluate flow trends, and resolve operational or commercial constraints. You lead structured alignment sessions with internal commercial, ground, and network planning teams to pivot inventory strategies based on real-time market conditions.

You manage, mentor, and upskill a dedicated team of inventory management specialists and analysts. You act as a functional subject matter expert on strategic initiatives, leveraging business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Excel to advance network digitalization and process optimization.

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of specialized experience in airline cargo, air freight, or aviation supply chain operations
• Demonstrated expertise in cargo revenue management, network margin optimization, and dynamic capacity allocation
• Proven proficiency with quantitative analysis and business intelligence platforms, specifically Power BI, Tableau, and advanced Excel
• Strong leadership skills with a background in managing cross-functional teams, stakeholder networks, and strategic project rollouts
• Fluent in professional written and spoken English with exceptional negotiation and communication capabilities
