Purchase Coordinator – Catering & Facilities Management

To coordinate day-to-day purchasing activities for catering and facilities management operations ensuring timely procurement of food beverages consumables cleaning materials equipment spare parts and other required items at competitive prices and in accordance with company procedures

Coordinate purchase requests from catering facilities operations and support departments Obtain and compare quotations from approved suppliers Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of required materials Follow up with suppliers regarding orders delivery schedules shortages and pending items Ensure purchases comply with approved specifications quantities quality standards and budgets Coordinate procurement of fresh chilled frozen dry food beverages cleaning materials chemicals PPE consumables and FM-related materials Maintain updated supplier and product information including prices and lead times Assist in negotiating prices payment terms delivery schedules and other commercial conditions Coordinate with Warehouse Operations Finance and suppliers to ensure smooth procurement and delivery Verify supplier documents quotations invoices delivery notes and purchase orders Monitor outstanding purchase orders and provide regular status updates to management Assist in identifying alternative suppliers and cost-saving opportunities Maintain proper procurement records and filing systems Ensure all purchases are made through approved suppliers and in accordance with company policies Support urgent procurement requirements and resolve supply-related issues promptly Assist with supplier evaluations and performance monitoring Ensure compliance with food safety quality HSE and company procurement requirements where applicable Perform other duties assigned by the Procurement Manager or management

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.

Minimum 4 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably within catering, hospitality, facilities management, or FMCG.Experience in purchasing food products and FM-related materials is an advantage.

Good knowledge of local suppliers and market pricing.

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with ERP/procurement systems.
