Material and Equipment Technician – Doha, Qatar

We are seeking a Material and Equipment Technician for a national oil and gas operator in Doha, Qatar.

Due to visa limitations, only candidates who are residents in Qatar with a valid QID and sponsorship may be considered.

• Perform routine daily inspections, maintenance, and preservation works for EPRS materials and equipment at RLIC warehouse and Frame Storage Yard.
• Maintain and update the operating inspection, maintenance, and preservation manual and records system for RLIC warehouse and Frame Storage.
• Execute inspection, maintenance, preservation, and troubleshooting activities for EPRS materials and equipment, including routine warehouse inventory checks.
• Execute loads, secure transport, deliver, and unload EPRS materials to and from specified destinations.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed within schedule and that QA/QC, HSE procedures and Permit to Work are in place.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory rules applicable to the facility and complete daily Control of Work (CoW) requirements.
• Identify and understand the tools, materials, and procedures before work.
• Adhere to a culture of reliability and continuous improvement.
• Understand and align with the Management of Change (MoC) process for all procedural equipment or process changes as needed.
• Record and comply with shift and crew change handovers in the appropriate log.
• Act as a member of the emergency response team and align with the responsibilities assigned in the Emergency Response Plan; participate in emergency response exercises.
• Develop, maintain, and update the inspection, maintenance, and preservation database for EPRS materials and pipeline databases.
• Monitor and provide feedback on the maintenance effectiveness process and take corrective action if required.

• Minimum Higher National Diploma from a recognised university.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Valid IMDG certificate.
• Rigging & Lifting certification or similar is preferred.
• Relevant experience in material warehousing logistics procedures and material handling and ability to resolve day‑day operations.
• Computer literate.
• Good command of English – read, write and speak fluent English.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with appropriate priority.
• Self‑starter/self‑management/self‑drive and ability to work without close monitoring.
• Resilient under pressure (both internal and external).
• Strong ability to deal with competing priorities and complex issues.
