To assist the conservation team by carrying out essential cleaning and maintenance of archival documents, safeguarding their condition and preparing them for subsequent digitization and preservation stages.
Key Result Areas- Perform routine cleaning of documents, including removal of dust, dirt, and staples.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of documents and storage areas.
- Follow instructions and guidance from the supervisor for proper handling and maintenance.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned cleaning tasks.
- Report any document damage or issues observed during cleaning to the supervisor.
- Must have completed high school education.
- Completion of a two-year diploma program after high school is required.
- Good command of the English language for understanding instructions.
- Demonstrates discipline, commitment, and ability to learn new tasks.
- Detail-oriented with accuracy in task execution.
- Punctual and adheres to work schedules and workplace ethics.
- Ability to perform basic document cleaning tasks such as dust removal and staple extraction.
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training and supervision provided.
