Position Overview

Qatar Airways is seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic for Cabin Workshops with specialization in Carpet and Trim to support maintenance and refurbishment activities within its engineering operations in Doha. This role focuses on delivering high-quality cabin component rectification and workshop tasks in line with approved technical data, regulatory requirements, and Qatar Airways quality and safety standards.

• Complete assigned cabin workshop tasks related to carpet and trim in accordance with approved technical data and Qatar Airways procedures.
• Operate workshop equipment and tooling safely to achieve productivity and turnaround targets.
• Ensure aircraft component rectification complies with QCAA and EASA Part‑145 requirements.
• Interpret technical information, drawings, and work instructions to maintain continuous operations.
• Perform tasks independently under normal conditions while meeting quality and time standards.
• Support team productivity by working to set performance benchmarks and leading by example.
• Maintain strict compliance with company health and safety policies at all times.
• Ensure team awareness of health, safety, and workplace risks.
• Carry out additional workshop or departmental duties as directed by the department head.

• High school, vocational qualification, or diploma with a minimum of three years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience, or bachelor's degree with at least two years of job‑related experience.
• Degree, diploma, or license in Aircraft Maintenance.
• Basic ICAO Type II license.
• Experience in preparing and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Working knowledge of drafting tools such as Corel
  
  DRAW and AutoCAD within an aviation environment.
• Strong attention to detail, technical accuracy, and safety compliance.
• Ability to work effectively in a time‑sensitive, high‑standard maintenance environment.
