• Supervise engineering staff during assigned shifts to ensure smooth operations
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and emergency repair work
• Monitor and maintain all hotel systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and brand standards
• Maintain records of maintenance tasks, incidents, and equipment inventory
• Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests, minimizing disruptions
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to support operations and guest services
• Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineering staff
• Promote continuous improvement and adherence to departmental procedures
• Assist in vendor management and oversee outsourced technical service providers

• Prior experience in a supervisory engineering role within hospitality or a related industry
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest‑focused approach
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• Technical qualifications or certifications in engineering, facilities, or maintenance are preferred
