Responsibilities
  • Produce legal and optimized crew rosters for flight deck and cabin crew using specialized crew optimization systems.
  • Ensure full compliance with QCAA regulations, flight time limitations, and internal company policies.
  • Analyze multiple roster scenarios to assess productivity, legality, manpower utilization, stability, and roster quality.
  • Develop and compare roster options to determine the most effective solution for current and future planning periods.
  • Provide analytical insights and recommendations to improve roster efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure standby coverage is aligned with approved resource plans and operational requirements.
  • Monitor crew bid satisfaction and roster performance metrics and report findings to senior management.
  • Conduct regular checks of rostering rules and parameters within Carmen Crew Rostering and related systems.
  • Identify system errors and coordinate corrective actions to maintain data accuracy and system integrity.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation, procedures, manuals, and checklists.
  • Communicate system updates, policy changes, and new implementations to the rostering team in a timely manner.
Ideal Profile

Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification. Minimum 5 years of job-related experience in crew resources, rostering, or scheduling roles. Proven experience in analytical and data-driven decision making. Strong understanding of flight time limitations and aviation regulatory requirements. Solid knowledge of crew resource planning methodologies and optimization systems.
