A Glimpse of Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize AV equipment, ensuring all devices are in proper working order.
- Conduct routine checks, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of audio, video, and lighting systems.
- Set up and operate AV equipment for events, meetings, and presentations.
- Ensure cables, connectors, and other accessories are safely arranged and maintained.
- Provide AV support to internal teams and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures when handling equipment.
- Assist during events as needed.
- Identify potential hazards related to AV setups and take corrective action, notifying supervisors when necessary.
- Log equipment usage, maintenance issues, and incidents according to hotel procedures.
- Good level of spoken and written English.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and take on diverse tasks.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a similar environment (4-5 star hotel preferred).
- Certificate in AV operations or related technical training.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to follow emergency protocols.
