Hydraulic Technician – Offshore Jackup Rig

Offshore Qatar (North Field, Halul Island, or Contracted Rigs)

Rotational (e.g., 41 days on/21 days off)

Chief Mechanic / Maintenance Supervisor

• Hydraulic System Maintenance – Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain critical hydraulic systems, including Jacking systems, BOP controls, Crane & winch hydraulics, power pack units, and accumulator systems.
• Inspection & Testing – Conduct pressure tests and leak detection on hydraulic circuits; perform fluid analysis and filter replacement; calibrate pressure relief valves and control systems.
• Emergency Response – Rapidly diagnose and resolve hydraulic failures, such as jacking system leaks; support well control emergencies involving BOP hydraulics.
• Safety & Compliance – Follow Qatar Energy safety standards for high‑pressure systems; maintain hose management program (inspection/replacement schedule).

• Minimum of 3 years hydraulic experience, preferably offshore/oil & gas.
• BOSIET/FOET with HUET (Offshore Survival & Helicopter Escape).
• Qatar Ministry of Public Health Medical Certificate.

• Certification in Hydraulic Systems (e.g., Bosch Rexroth, Parker Hannifin).
• Experience with PLC-controlled hydraulic systems.

• No overtime required – strictly 12‑hour shift.
• Safety bonuses for incident‑free rotations.

  Each crew change from Doha to home country and back to Doha.
