We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager with a minimum of 10 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in the oil & gas, lubricant blending, petroleum, refinery, petrochemical, or chemical processing industry
. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all maintenance activities, ensuring maximum plant availability, reliability, safety, and compliance while optimizing maintenance costs and improving equipment performance. The Maintenance Manager will report directly to the Managing Director and will work closely with the Operations, Production, HSE, Procurement, and Finance departments to achieve the company's operational and strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for all plant equipment.
- Lead the maintenance department and provide strategic direction to ensure high plant reliability and operational excellence.
- Manage maintenance activities for rotating and static equipment including pumps, compressors, blowers, gearboxes, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, storage tanks, mixers, agitators, reactors, boilers, thermic fluid heaters, cooling towers, HVAC systems, pipelines, valves, and fire protection systems.
- Coordinate mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and utility maintenance activities.
- Ensure maximum plant uptime by minimizing equipment failures and production interruptions.
- Lead troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implementation of permanent corrective actions.
- Plan and execute annual shutdowns, turnarounds, and major overhauls within approved budgets and schedules.
- Develop annual maintenance budgets, capital expenditure (CAPEX) proposals, and maintenance improvement plans for approval by the Managing Director.
- Prepare monthly maintenance performance reports and present KPIs, reliability data, maintenance costs, and improvement initiatives to the Managing Director.
- Establish maintenance KPIs including equipment availability, MTBF, MTTR, maintenance cost, and preventive maintenance compliance.
- Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and ensure accurate maintenance records.
- Optimize spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement of critical equipment and consumables.
- Ensure compliance with OEM recommendations, engineering standards, statutory requirements, and company procedures.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Quality, HSE, Procurement, and Engineering departments to support uninterrupted plant operations.
- Manage maintenance contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and contractual requirements.
- Identify and implement reliability improvement, energy-saving, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Support new equipment installation, plant expansion, commissioning, and modification projects.
- Ensure full compliance with company HSE policies and applicable local and international regulations.
- Enforce Permit‑to‑Work (PTW), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, hot work, and electrical isolation procedures.
- Participate in HAZOP studies, risk assessments, incident investigations, and emergency response planning.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure zero harm within the maintenance department.
- Lead, motivate, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary maintenance team.
- Conduct performance appraisals and identify employee training and development needs.
- Ensure effective manpower planning and resource allocation.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience
, including at least 5 years in a Maintenance Manager or senior supervisory role - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in Oil & Gas, lubricant blending plants, petroleum terminals, petrochemical plants, refineries, or chemical processing industries.
- Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, utilities, piping systems, storage tanks, and industrial maintenance practices.
