Cleaning and Housekeeping Duties- Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other assigned work areas.
- Maintain cleaning standards required for a hygienic working environment.
- Vacuum and clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies using appropriate cleaning equipment.
- Sweep, scrub, wax and polish floors using brooms, mops or powered cleaning machines.
- Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
- Clean and polish silver accessories, fixtures, fittings and other metalwork.
- Wash windows, walls, ceilings and woodwork, including waxing and polishing where necessary.
- Replenish linens and other required supplies.
- Empty wastebaskets and clean ashtrays.
- Transport rubbish and other waste to designated disposal areas.
- Remove debris from driveways, garages and swimming pool areas.
- Replace light bulbs when required.
- Request repair services when maintenance work is needed and coordinate access for repair workers.
- Sort clothing and other articles, load washing machines, and iron and fold dried items.
- Carry out assigned errands, including taking laundry to cleaners and purchasing groceries.
- Provide basic pet care when required, including grooming, exercise and feeding.
- High school degree, 12th grade or Intermediate pass.
