Position OverviewExperienced Chief Cook (Arabic, Indian, Continental cuisines) for offshore vessels, barges, and rigs across Middle East locations (KSA, UAE, Qatar). Responsible for managing galley operations, meal planning, inventory, hygiene compliance, and delivering high‑quality nutrition to crew members.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prep, and serve diverse menus (Arabic, Indian, Continental) for 30–100 crew members.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and cost control; maintain stock levels and reduce waste.
- Ensure strict food safety, HACCP, and sanitation standards (ISO 22000/HAACP).
- Supervise kitchen staff (chefs, stewards) and handle shift scheduling.
- Prepare daily meal reports, budget tracking, and maintain digital logs (MS Office/Google Suite).
- Adapt menus for dietary restrictions, cultural preferences, and health requirements.
- Maintain equipment (ovens, grills, cold storage) and coordinate repairs.
- 3–5 years as a Chief Cook (offshore or maritime preferred).
- Proven expertise in Arabic, Indian, and Continental cuisines.
- Offshore experience on vessels, barges, rigs (6‑month rotations).
- Good English (written & spoken) and computer literate (Excel, Word, inventory software).
