Educated Households is a highertier household staff agency based in London placing lite educated private staff with VIP families in the Gulf countries and worldwide.

We are currently seeking a supremelyexperienced Palace Manager with premium experience in the Middle East endowed with a highend F&B background to manage the daytoday operations of a busy VIP family in Doha Qatar reporting to the Family Office HR and / or to the female Principal.

The Palace Manager sought will take control of the smooth running of the Principals property(ies) and formal residence supervising and training staff to ensure ultimate efficiency within the Household.

The family is seeking a Palace Manager who must have at least 5 years experience working as a Palace Manager in the Middle East & who should be able to speak an Eastern European language to a high standard as well as English. The Client will only consider candidates fitting this brief.

The position is to start ASAP.

Requirements

The duties will include but not limited to :

  • Standards setting & managing the households procedures.
  • Writing manuals.
  • Diligently attending to all the needs of the Principals.
  • Staffing managing and assisting in recruiting household staff.
  • Supervising the overall housekeeping of the Principals properties.
  • Managing the household staff : housekeepers nannies tutors butlers private chefs nurses etc.
  • Being responsible for rotas calendars and arranging appointments on behalf of the Principals.
  • Ensuring that all staff are properly trained.
  • Acting as a coach mentor and motivator.
  • Holding staff reviews.
  • Handling disciplinary matters.
  • Greeting guests.
  • Running errands & buying gifts.
  • Negotiating contracts with vendors & contractors.
  • Property & systems management scheduling maintenance work accounting budgeting.
  • Security & safety of the Household members liaising with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Event planning.
  • Troubleshooting.
  • Resolving issues that may arise in the household.
  • Serving as a point of contact in the household and for outside stakeholders.
  • Accurate record keeping & writing reports.
