Job Summary The Senior Drilling Manager oversees and manages well drilling operations, ensuring they are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations. This role involves supervising drilling crews, maintaining equipment, and optimizing drilling performance to achieve project goals.

• Oversee daily drilling activities, ensuring adherence to drilling plans and operational efficiency.
• Ensure all drilling activities comply with HSE regulations, well control standards, and company policies.
• Manage and mentor drilling teams, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor the condition of drilling rigs and equipment, coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Track drilling performance, identify challenges, and provide detailed reports for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with top management on equipment planning to ensure job scheduling aligns with project timelines and prevents delays.
• Prepare and manage well requirements to support efficient drilling operations.
• Oversee all site facilities, equipment, and team operations to ensure smooth execution.

• Drilling Operations & Well Control – Expertise in drilling techniques, well control procedures, and problem mitigation strategies.
• HSE Regulations & Compliance – Strong understanding of industry safety standards (API, OSHA, IWCF) and environmental policies.
• Rig Equipment & Maintenance – Knowledge of drilling rig components, hydraulic systems, and preventive maintenance.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Arabic.
• Proficiency in French is optional but preferred.
• Strong analytical skills to address operational challenges and optimize drilling performance.

• Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or any Engineering related discipline (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical)
