As a Team Leader you are responsible to supervise all engineering staff and ensure the effective maintenance of the building.

Monitors equipment and special preventative maintenance standards and ensure effective operation for grounds, systems and equipment’s.

Staff training, assignments and supervision to ensure staff development and compliance to standard requirements.

Ensures quality performance in staff assignments.

Ensure compliance with building codes and other sanitary requirements in operation and maintenance.

Preparing SOP and ensuring training to staff.

Monitoring stock inventory in coordination with store head and ensuring required minimum stock is available in store to perform effective and efficient maintenance.

Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective equipment and use correct lifting procedures as necessary to avoid injury. Follow hazardous material management program procedures for handling and disposing of chemicals using material safety data sheets. Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions and report them to the shift in charge. Follow policies and procedures for safe operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines.

Complete appropriate fire and safety trainings and certifications to perform work tasks.

Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion while performing various responsibilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot many MEP issues on day-to-day operation.
• Ability to handle a team and ensure safe and reliable work execution.
• Ability to effectively deal with a variety of audiences, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy.
• Strong computer literacy including knowledge of Windows XP and Microsoft Office Suite of products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in basic mathematics and good analytical skills.
