Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Flight Operations – Network Operations team as a Network Manager to be based in Doha, Qatar.

As a Network Manager, you will support the Manager Network Control by conducting all aspects of daily flight operations efficiently. You will also be responsible for leading, supervising and supporting the IOC Network Control team on shift to plan and deliver efficient and effective disruption recovery plans while considering safety, economy and punctuality.

• Evaluate and coordinate with all stakeholders to adjust aircraft resources to accommodate irregular operations and planned or unplanned maintenance.
• Ensure effective management and oversight of ACMI operation.
• Monitor and recommend plans to recover irregular operations efficiently with the most favorable outcome, taking into consideration economic, brand value and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement recommended improvements to processes and operations.
• Ensure accurate and continuous communication with all stakeholders.
• Deputize for the Manager Network Control in his/her absence.
• Contribute effective strategies for IDPs with IOC Training and provide the training impact for courses delivered.

• Relevant College or University qualifications with minimum 7 years of job-related experience.
• Experience in Aviation, Management or relevant fields.
• Airline Operations Centre or relevant experience.
• Experience in management role in an airline operations Centre environment will be highly desirable.
• Advanced level of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access), and IT skills.
• Detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
