We are mobilizing a vessel to execute subsea cable shore pull and cable installation works, including vessel mobilization, installation of cable lay spread, diving operations and offshore construction activities.
We are seeking an experienced Offshore Construction Supervisor (OCS) to take full responsibility for vessel mobilization, offshore execution, construction readiness and interface management throughout the campaign.
Key Responsibilities- Overall responsibility for vessel mobilization and demobilization, including installation and readiness of cable lay equipment
- Coordination and supervision of vessel modifications, lifting operations, and marine operations
- Lead offshore construction execution of subsea cable shore pull and cable lay activities
- Management and coordination of diving operations, including shore pull support, bellmouth installation and subsea works
- Control and supervision of cable handling, routing, tensioning and installation activities
- Act as the primary offshore interface between vessel crew, diving contractor, engineering team, cable installation team and client representatives
- Ensure offshore activities are executed in accordance with approved procedures, risk assessments and method statements
- Provide strong offshore HSE leadership, including toolbox talks, Permit to Work (PTW) oversight and compliance with project and statutory requirements
- Monitor offshore progress, manage operational risks and resolve technical or execution issues in real time
- Proven experience acting as Offshore Construction Supervisor (OCS) on subsea cable installation, shore pull, or similar offshore construction projects
- Strong technical knowledge of shore pull operations, cable handling systems, tensioners, chutes, rollers and associated deck equipment
- Demonstrated experience working with diving spreads, marine assets and multi-discipline offshore teams
- Solid understanding of offshore HSE management, SIMOPS, marine operations and construction best practices
- Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills in a vessel based offshore environment
