We are seeking a skilled Machine Embroidery Tailor to join our client’s prestigious boutique in Doha, Qatar. This role is critical in delivering high‑end, custom embroidery on traditional and contemporary garments such as abayas, jalabiyas, and uniforms. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in operating computerized embroidery systems, executing intricate designs with precision, and maintaining consistent quality across all pieces.
You will play a key role in transforming design concepts into beautifully finished garments, ensuring client satisfaction through attention to detail, timely delivery, and technical excellence.
- Operate and perform routine maintenance on industrial or computerized embroidery machines (e.g., Barudan, Tajima, or equivalent).
- Prepare embroidery designs, select appropriate thread colors, and properly position fabric for stitching.
- Execute custom embroidery on abayas, jalabiyas, uniforms, and other garments in accordance with design specifications.
- Adjust machine settings and resolve technical issues related to thread tension, needle alignment, and design accuracy.
- Conduct thorough quality inspections on finished pieces to ensure precision, neatness, and professional finishing.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and schedule regular servicing to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate closely with designers and tailors to bring customized embroidery patterns to life for clients.
- Manage production schedules efficiently to meet project deadlines without compromising quality.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in machine embroidery and tailoring.
- Proven proficiency with embroidery software and design setup (preferred).
- Experience working with diverse fabrics including chiffon, crepe, satin, and cotton.
- Exceptional attention to detail, creativity, and advanced fabric handling abilities.
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple embroidery tasks efficiently.
