Job Description Industrial Electrical & PLC Duties
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLC-based control panels, relays, contactor, drives, motors, and wiring systems.
- Diagnose faults in sensors, power supplies, automation systems, and electrical protection devices.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure uninterrupted plant operation.
- Work with industrial wiring, switch gear, and electrical distribution systems.
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams, PLC schematics, and technical documentation.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with international safety standards and codes.
- Collaborate with maintenance, automation, and production teams for smooth operations.
- Document all inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs.
- Operate and monitor cement production machinery and equipment.
- Perform routine checks, report abnormalities, and support production processes.
- Follow safety and operational protocols.
- Minimum 10 years of industrial electrical experience (factories, plants, or heavy industry).
- Strong expertise in PLC systems, motor drives, relays, contactor, sensors, power circuits, and industrial wiring systems.
- Skilled in troubleshooting complex electrical and automation faults.
- Ability to read and interpret control diagrams, PLC schematics, and manuals.
- Willingness to work as a Plant Operator whenever electrical tasks are not required.
- High level of responsibility, safety awareness, and teamwork.
- Relevant technical certifications or licenses preferred.
- Employment contract duration: 5 years (renewable based on performance and mutual agreement).
- Accommodation provided from the firstday of employment (including probation).
- Transportation is not required as the accommodation is located inside the factory premises.
- Health insurance provided by the company.
- One-way flight ticket every two years.
- Working hours:
8 hours per day, 6 days a week. Any work exceeding 8 hours per day will be compensated as paid overtime according to company policy and Qatari labor law. 21 days paid leave per year. - If the candidate does not pass probation, they are responsible for return flight and visa costs.
- Visa processing fees and flight tickets from the candidate’s home country to Qatar will be fully covered by the company.
- The candidate must bear the cost of the medical examination conducted in their home country prior to departure for Qatar.
