The Yard Foremanis responsible for supervising daily yard operations, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to project schedules, quality standards,and company procedures. The role involves coordinating manpower, equipment, and materials within the yard.
Requirements- Supervise day-to-day activities in the yard and allocate workto technicians and laborers
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with HSE rules andcompany policies
- Conduct toolbox talks and daily safety briefings
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and planners regardingwork schedules
- Monitor productivity, work quality, and progress againsttargets
- Oversee loading, unloading, storage, and movement of materials and equipment
- Ensure proper housekeeping and organization of the yard
- Inspect tools, machinery, and lifting equipment before use
- Report incidents, damages, and near misses promptly
- Maintain daily work reports, manpower logs, and materialrecords
- Support maintenance, fabrication, repair, or logisticsactivities as required
