- Adhere to hygiene and grooming standards as outlined by the organization.
- Inspect all raw materials to ensure FIFO is followed prior to processing food at all times.
- Ensure that all meals are produced according to the flight load given and tagged with clear name and day code for easy handling.
- Keep food trolleys covered at all times to avoid foreign object contamination.
- Coordinate with staff to use raw materials efficiently with maximum yield and minimum wastage.
- Provide proper wastage documentation for all disposed prepared food product and declared as waste to monitor over‑production and expiration of the products.
- Coordinate with line manager for planning of the section and support during menu presentation.
- Facilitate all allocated activities assigned, ensuring they are completed on time and the report is given based on production plan.
- Divide all tasks assigned by senior to assistants.
- Maintain tasks assigned by CDP during their absence.
- Follow instructions of seniors to assist in smooth operation.
- Implement new cooking process and techniques as taught by senior chefs on‑duty.
- Provide all related information to machinery failure and small equipment damages to seniors.
- Perform other department duties related to the position as directed by the Head of the Department.

- Bachelor’s Degree or High School Qualification with a minimum of 3 years of job‑related experience.
- Good working knowledge of Food and Beverages.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Basic Food hygiene and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) skills.
- Awareness of new trends and directions in the fine dining service industry.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to effectively supervise and train a large, diverse work staff and experience in managing in a high‑pressure environment.
- Planning and supervisory skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal communication.
