Operate and maintain airless spray painting equipment for application of industrial coatings on oil & gas assets.
Prepare surfaces (blast cleaning, sanding, degreasing, masking) to meet project specifications and industry standards.
Mix and apply specialized coatings (epoxy, polyurethane, fireproofing, anti-corrosion) with precision.
Conduct quality checks on coating thickness, adhesion, and finish using inspection tools (DFT gauges, holiday detectors).
Ensure compliance with NACE/SSPC standards and client-specific coating procedures.
Maintain accurate records of materials, batch numbers, and application parameters for QA/QC documentation.
Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of spray equipment.
RequirementsQualifications & Skills
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an industrial spray painter in the oil & gas sector.
Strong knowledge of coating systems for pipelines, and process equipment.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, coating specifications, and safety data sheets.
Skilled in surface preparation techniques and coating inspection methods.
