Technical Materials Coordinator - Planning | CAMO Supply Chain
You will be responsible to provide coordination of materials/tools requirements in support of ongoing Heavy & Light maintenance checks and ad-hoc maintenance requirements across the Qatar Airways and Qatar Executive Fleet. This includes routine and non-routine tasks and chasing the progress to ensure proper, efficient and continuous materials/tools support to aircrafts within scheduled ground time. This role is also required to be instrumental in resolving day‑to‑day queries related to tools availability & pre‑load for the maintenance requirements to ensure material availability along with extensive communication with internal departments.
Accountabilities including, but not limited to:
- Review the material/tools for all scheduled maintenance activities (heavy and light) received from Centralized Planning and provide feedback within prescribed time frames as per set QTR and QE procedures.
- Obtain up to date status of spares required on a daily basis once the parts arrive in stores. Ensure information is passed to Stores in order to clear the parts on a priority basis.
- Review the aircraft material requests (AMR) raised by maintenance IAW relevant documents and arrange set up the Part numbers in TRAX to enable procurement.
- As requested by the Technical Materials Planner, participate in daily morning meetings or other required liaison meetings as related to aircraft parts coordination.
- Ensure “C” checks at third party maintenance organizations to be carried out in line of contractual obligation, and update TRAX accordingly to account all the transactions done at MRO.
- Prepare various reports to support critical Material Planning functions as and when required.
About you:
- Minimum 2‑3 years of job‑related experience.
- Good knowledge and exposure of Computer System.
- Ability to understand Parts Certification, Technical Publications, Vendor Manuals, and TPM.
- Familiar with EASA, FAA and QCAA regulations.
- Excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing.
