- Monitor internal control processes and provide feedback to the Materials Management team for review and corrective actions.
- Conduct regular spot checks in production, assembly, and service delivery areas to ensure accuracy of material usage and compliance with procedures.
- Verify items delivered to flights according to scheduled audits and document any discrepancies.
- Track and report daily wastages from all departments to support cost control and process improvement.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to perform product yield checks, improving production efficiency and reducing material losses.
- Participate in monthly and annual inventory audits to ensure accurate physical counts and reporting.
- Gather and organize environmental and wastage data in coordination with the Environmental and Materials teams.
- Maintain substitution trackers for internal and external materials, ensuring accurate reporting and communication with the Materials Manager.
- Support continuous improvement (CI) initiatives by providing analytical data for operational and financial reviews.
- Assist in managing stock levels, ensuring timely availability of catering items for flight operations.
- High school qualification or bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in inventory control or materials management.
- Experience in flight catering, food production, or large‑scale manufacturing is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and data analysis.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as JD Edwards, Oracle, or SAP.
- Strong understanding of food industry operations, inventory procedures, and related financial processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
