Monitoring and controlling all oil and gas production and utility systems to ensure that production and environmental targets are achieved. Acting as a member of the Offshore Emergency Response Team in the event of an incident to ensure minimal harm to personnel, environment and assets. Contributing to the development and review of risk assessments to ensure hazards are identified, mitigations are in place, and risks are reduced.
Responsibilities- Assist the Production Supervisor in the safe delivery of core business through active management of production tasks and core operational activities.
- Act as a Permit Controller to ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the Permit to Work process and company requirements.
- Provide the Production Supervisor with analysis and comment on production volumes, opportunities, and risks to improve business performance.
- Provide visible leadership to personnel to ensure production targets are met and production/rejection volumes are maximized.
- Promote NOC core values by being a safety role model, showing trust, respect and commitment, fostering collaboration across the organization.
- Promote cost consciousness and embed a strong cost culture.
- Drive an incident‑free environment by establishing and maintaining a strong incident‑free culture.
- Actively participate in and promote company health and safety campaigns, policies and procedures, ensuring personal safety and that of colleagues at all times.
- Ensure compliance with Operating Procedures and Guidelines to guarantee Process Safety, Operational Safety, and Plant Integrity.
- Graduated with minimum Higher Secondary School Education plus a three‑year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5 years at offshore on‑field equipment in diversified oil & gas processing or petrochemical plants.
- Fluent in English, with written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Good level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
