1、Core Welding Responsibilities
• Perform 6G/6GR welding on pipes, fittings, and flanges for process and utility piping.
• Execute root pass, hot pass, fill, and cap as per approved WPS.
Work on carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless‑steel materials.
• Interpret isometric drawings, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings accurately.
• Ensure compliance with ASME Section IX, API 1104, and project specifications.
• Conduct self‑inspection and support NDT requirements (RT/UT/PT/MT).
2、Quality & Safety
• Maintain high weld quality to ensure minimal rejection rates.
• Follow all safety rules, hot work permit protocols, and toolbox talk instructions.
• Use PPE appropriately and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Report unsafe acts, near misses, or equipment defects immediately.
3、Coordination & Productivity
• Coordinate with fitters, riggers, and supervisors to achieve daily production targets.
• Support shutdowns, tie‑ins, and critical path welding activities.
• Willingness to work overtime, night shifts, and rotational shifts as required by project demands.
- Use and maintain hand tools, power tools
- Conduct visual checks and inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Follow permit‑to‑work systems and coordinate with supervisors for task execution
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment offshore
- Strictly comply with HSE policies and offshore safety procedures
- Ensure compliance with HSE and operational safety standards
- Coordinate with project and operations teams for smooth workflow
- Ensure quality and integrity for safe offshore operations
