Senior CNC Machine Operator

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Senior CNC Machine Operator in Qatar. Our client is a reputed organization in the Shipbuilding / Heavy Fabrication sector seeking skilled, motivated professionals. If you meet the requirements below as positions are limited.

• Operate CNC machinery used for shipbuilding, offshore structures, and heavy fabrication activities.
• Set up CNC machines according to approved job requirements, drawings, and production specifications.
• Interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, cutting requirements, and fabrication instructions accurately.
• Monitor CNC machine operations and make appropriate adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and production quality.
• Inspect fabricated components and identify deviations from required specifications.
• Perform routine machine checks and support preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Follow shipyard and heavy-fabrication safety procedures during machine operation and material handling.
• Maintain production records and coordinate with fabrication and production teams to complete assigned work efficiently.

• CNC Machine Operation: Hands-on ability to set up, operate, and monitor CNC machinery safely.

  Experience:
  
  Practical understanding of production requirements in shipyards or heavy fabrication environments.
• Engineering Drawing Interpretation: Ability to understand dimensions, tolerances, profiles, and fabrication drawings.
• Machine Setup & Inspection: Ability to verify tooling, parameters, workpiece positioning, and finished dimensions.
• Safety & Quality Compliance: Knowledge of safe CNC operating practices and fabrication quality requirements.

• Offshore structure fabrication exposure.
• CNC troubleshooting and basic machine maintenance knowledge.
• Experience working on large fabricated components used in marine or offshore projects.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience as a CNC Machine Operator in shipyards or heavy fabrication industries
. Candidates holding Secondary Education should have 4+ years of CNC machine experience in shipbuilding/offshore structure fabrication
. Experience in industrial fabrication environments involving large structural components is preferred.

• Minimum: ITI or Trade Apprenticeship
• Alternative: Higher Secondary Education or Secondary Education with the required relevant experience
