Our newest opportunity is for a talented Handover Coordinator to join our award-winning team based in Doha, Qatar
, working on a recently awarded project.
The role will be responsible for coordinating project handover and close-out activities with the Client, End Users, Contractor, and project stakeholders, ensuring a smooth and timely handover in accordance with contractual requirements and established project procedures.
We envisage success in this role to include:
- Coordinating with the Client, End Users, Contractor, and key stakeholders to establish project-specific handover requirements, plans, procedures, and schedules.
- Reviewing and monitoring the Contractor’s commissioning, testing, handover, and close-out plans and schedules.
- Reviewing the Contractor’s handover deliverables, including as-built documentation, operation and maintenance manuals, testing and commissioning records, certificates, warranties, and other project close-out documentation.
- Coordinating with the project team and Contractor to monitor progress against handover milestones and contractual requirements.
- Conducting regular meetings and progress reviews with relevant stakeholders to identify and resolve issues affecting handover and close-out activities.
- Establishing and monitoring procedures for snagging, inspection, de-snagging, and final acceptance activities.
- Coordinating with the Contractor, project team, and End Users to facilitate testing, commissioning, inspections, and other activities required for project handover.
- Monitoring the preparation, review, and completion of as-built drawings and other project handover documentation.
- Conducting handover-related inductions and communicating project-specific requirements and procedures to the project team and relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinating final inspections with the Client, End Users, and relevant stakeholders to facilitate the issuance of required NOCs, Taking Over Certificates, and other completion documentation.
- Identifying outstanding handover and close-out items and following up with responsible parties to ensure timely completion.
