Lanyardy® produces customized lanyards, badges, wristbands, and other printed products in-house for events and businesses.
We are hiring a full-time Graphic Designer – Print Production for our production team.
About the role:The role combines graphic design, artwork preparation, printing machine operation, and production support. The successful candidate will prepare print-ready artwork, operate printing equipment, maintain consistent print quality, troubleshoot basic production issues, and ensure orders are completed accurately and on schedule.
Responsibilities- Operate and monitor printing equipment used for lanyards, badges, cards, stickers, and customized products.
- Prepare customer artwork and production files according to the required dimensions, templates, bleed, resolution, and print specifications.
- Create and modify designs using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or similar software.
- Perform pre-press checks on dimensions, colors, resolution, fonts, alignment, and positioning.
- Operate heat-transfer/sublimation, UV, card/badge, and other digital printers.
- Prepare files for variable-data printing, including names, QR codes, barcodes, photos, and job titles.
- Perform test prints and samples before mass production, and monitor print quality throughout.
- Ensure finished products match approved artwork, samples, and client specifications.
- Coordinate with the Sales and Operations teams on job requirements, quantities, and deadlines.
- Maintain production records, including completed quantities, wastage, rejected items, and material use.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of printers.
- Organize artwork files, production files, templates, and customer designs.
- Support cutting, finishing, assembly, and packing when required.
- Support urgent and high-volume production during events and peak periods.
Previous experience as a Printer Operator, Graphic Designer, Pre-Press Operator, or Digital Printing Operator
Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop;
CorelDRAW is an advantage
Experience preparing artwork for commercial or digital printing
Experience operating UV, sublimation, heat-transfer, card, badge, or digital printing machines is highly preferred
Understanding of CMYK/RGB, resolution, bleed, vector artwork, print dimensions, and color matching
Experience with variable-data printing, QR codes, and barcodes is an advantage
Basic knowledge of printer maintenance and troubleshooting
Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple orders under tight deadlines
Able to work independently and as part of a production team
Flexible and willing to work extended hours for urgent production or event deadlines
