Pastry Line Operator – Talent Pool

As a Pastry Line Operator within Bakery & Pastry, you will be responsible to operate production lines and belts as assigned, including portioning lines, packing lines, pastry lines, etc. You will ensure safe and smooth operation of the equipment and machinery at all times while observing on-time completion of the volume and tasks, and the subsequent on-time handover to the next production steps and/or Assembly.

You will be assisting as required in preventive maintenance and problem-solving activities with QACC Maintenance and/or contractors.

As a Pastry Line Operator within Bakery & Pastry, you will be responsible to operate production lines and belts as assigned, including portioning lines, packing lines, pastry lines, etc. You will ensure safe and smooth operation of the equipment and machinery at all times while observing on-time completion of the volume and tasks, and the subsequent on-time handover to the next production steps and/or Assembly.

You will be assisting as required in preventive maintenance and problem-solving activities with QACC Maintenance and/or contractors.

• Perform quick serviceability checks on the assigned equipment and machinery upon reporting on duty as well as before finishing the shift.
• Record and report all mechanical irregularities impacting the smooth operation of the equipment and machinery. Ensure proper handover between shifts and escalation if required.
• Pre-set the assigned lines and belts at the optimal speed / intervals as per product specifications.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the equipment and machinery throughout the shift and sections as assigned.
• Follow and be aware of all equipment manufacturer's guidelines, safe operating tips, SOPs, and basic maintenance and trouble-shooting skills.
• Guide other staff (who are not Operators) in proper operation of the equipment and machinery.
• Analyze and adjust equipment settings by increasing the speed and/or reducing the intervals to achieve optimal operational efficiency without compromising safety and quality.
• Coordinate with all concerned seniors on duty within and outside the department in case of any emergency.
• Ensure the daily KPl are met and report any deviation.

An ideal candidate will meet below qualifications and experience:

• High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification / Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (preferably experience in operating food production/ bakery mass production/ equipment or machinery)
