Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Fabricator for oil and gas and petrochemical projects. The candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, fitting, and installing metal structures, piping components, and equipment in accordance with engineering drawings, project specifications, and safety standards.##
Key Responsibilities
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, isometric drawings, and technical specifications.
* Perform fabrication of carbon steel, stainless steel, and other metal components as required.
* Measure, mark, cut, grind, bevel, and prepare materials for fabrication.
* Carry out fit-up, alignment, and assembly of pipes, structural components, supports, and equipment.
* Use fabrication tools and equipment, including cutting machines, grinders, and measuring instruments.
* Ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with approved drawings and project requirements.
* Coordinate with welders, pipe fitters, supervisors, and QA/QC inspectors during fabrication activities.
* Inspect fabricated components for dimensional accuracy and workmanship before welding or installation.
* Follow approved welding procedures, quality standards, and project specifications.
* Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure safe handling of tools, materials, and equipment.
* Comply with site HSE procedures, Permit to Work (PTW) requirements, and applicable oil and gas safety standards.
* Support installation, modification, maintenance, and shutdown activities as required.## Required Skills and Competencies
* Minimum 5 years of relevant fabrication experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
* Good knowledge of metal fabrication techniques, material identification, and fabrication tools.
* Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings and technical documents.
* Experience working with carbon steel and stainless steel materials.
* Knowledge of fit-up, alignment, cutting, grinding, and dimensional inspection.
* Familiarity with industrial workshop and field fabrication activities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Strong commitment to quality, safety, and project deadlines.## Preferred Requirements
* Previous experience in oil refineries, gas plants, petrochemical facilities, or EPC projects.
* Experience in shutdown, turnaround, and maintenance projects.
* Knowledge of applicable fabrication codes, project quality procedures, and HSE requirements.
* Willingness to work at project sites and in industrial environments.
