Team Leader; Communication

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EU funded project called:
EU Strategic communication in Gabon and São Tomé and Príncipe and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

The general objective of this assignment is to strengthen the image and perception of the European Union in Gabon and Sao Tome and Principe, and promote greater awareness and understanding of the EU-Gabon and EU-Sao Tome and Principe partnerships, as well as common and shared values.

Libreville, Gabon and Sao Tome, Sao Tome and Principe.

Duration
:
The planned start date is 08/05/2026
, and the contract period will be 24 months from that date.

Qualifications and skills:

• University degree or graduate school diploma equivalent to five years of higher education in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, journalism, or any other discipline relevant to the position, or equivalent professional experience in the above-mentioned fields of at least 10 years (2,200 days) in addition to the general professional experience required in criterion 4 below (5 years).
• Perfect command of spoken and written French (minimum level C2) and good command of spoken and written English (minimum level B1).
• Knowledge of Portuguese (minimum level B2) is a asset

• At least 5 years (1,100 days) of professional experience in the field of communication, public relations, journalism, marketing or advertising.
• At least 3 professional experiences (which may have taken place within the 5 years of professional experience required in criterion 4 above) in managing public communication campaigns involving the use of promotional and information tools, publications, and media relations.
• At least one (1) experience as a supervisor of a communication initiative on a national or international scale lasting at least 3 months (60 days), or alternatively at least three (3) nonconsecutive experiences, each lasting no less than 1 month (20 days).
• At least 2 years (440 days) of professional experience in the field of communication, public relations, journalism, marketing, or advertising in sub-Saharan Africa.
• Experience in the areas mentioned in criterion 7 above in Gabon and/or Sao Tome and Principe is a asset
