The Manager of Communications and Public Relations is responsible for developing and executing corporate communication and public relations strategies that align with Msheireb's goals and objectives. The role involves coordinating both internal and external communication initiatives, managing relationships with business partners, maintaining and enhancing Msheireb Properties' reputation and brand image, and ensuring consistent messaging across the organization.
Responsibilities- Establish and implement a corporate communication and public relations strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and values.
- Manage all corporate‑level press releases, media relations content, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, and speaking proposals.
- Work closely with the Commercial Marketing team to align communication efforts and ensure consistent branding and messaging.
- Establish a strategic PR plan and calendar of activity covering corporate, projects, completed properties, and CEO profiling events.
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders, including media outlets, industry influencers, and business partners.
- Establish strategic media relationships through press familiarization visits and executive contact programs.
- Craft clear and consistent messaging for the organization to maintain and enhance Msheireb Properties' reputation and brand image.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless communication and alignment of messaging across the organization.
- Standardize all internal communication, including announcements and newsletters.
- Ensure that the translation (Ar/Eng) is clear and persuasive, and provide original copy for various corporate communication materials including articles, newsletters, speeches, and other publicity materials.
- Monitor, audit, proofread, and revise internal/external communications.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve communication and public relations strategies, monitor industry trends and research media coverage.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and reports related to communication and public relations efforts.
- Supervise and mentor a team in the communications and public relations department.
- Support the development of engaging content for various platforms, including the company's website, social media, and marketing materials.
- Support the company's social media presence, ensuring it reflects the organization's corporate values, engages with the target audience, and monitors online conversations about the company.
- Represent the company at media, industry events and trade shows.
- Perform other special duties and projects as needed in support of organizational communication and PR goals.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related discipline.
- Relationship management with PR agencies.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills in English and Arabic.
