Social Media Coordinator (F&B Sector)

Job Summary

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for planning, creating, and managing digital content to promote the brand, products, and services of the organization's F&B outlets. This role requires hands‑on experience in social media management, strong content creation skills, and an understanding of F&B trends to effectively engage with target audiences and drive customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement social media strategies tailored to F&B business needs and objectives.
  • Manage social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, X, Linked In, etc.) and ensure consistent brand presence.
  • Create engaging content (photos, videos, reels, stories, posts) showcasing food, beverages, promotions, and events.
  • Collaborate with chefs, baristas, and outlet managers to highlight seasonal menus, new products, and special campaigns.
  • Monitor social media engagement, respond to customer comments/messages, and escalate feedback to management when required.
  • Analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions) and prepare regular reports.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, F&B industry developments, and competitor activities.
  • Coordinate with the marketing and operations team to align online campaigns with offline promotions.
  • Ensure all online content follows brand guidelines, tone of voice, and marketing standards.
  • Support in planning and covering F&B events, launches, and community activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Coordinator/Executive, preferably in the Food & Beverage / Hospitality sector.
  • Strong understanding of F&B culture, trends, and consumer behavior.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools (Canva, Photoshop, video editing apps).
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Knowledge of paid advertising (Meta Ads, Google Ads) is an advantage.
  • Photography and videography skills preferred.
