Lead and supervise marketing communications activities to enhance HBKU brand image externally and internally through planning and execution of proactive and effective strategic marketing initiatives, campaigns and events.

Key Result Areas:
  • Lead implementation of the university’s strategic marketing strategy and its integration with the overall communications strategy
  • Plan and execute strategic marketing campaigns for HBKU, managing workflow, providing direction, and performance reports
  • Supervise all marketing projects and campaigns across institutional marketing, business marketing and outreach
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies across online and offline platforms, to ensure uniformity and consistency of the HBKU brand and build momentum for brand awareness and stakeholder acquisition
  • Measure campaign performance and develop ways to improve
  • Identify sponsorship and advertisement opportunities for HBKU, in alignment with department business plan
  • Supervise and manage the relationships with the marketing and creative agencies, to ensure excellence in delivery and value
  • Develop the university’s brand strategy and manage the university’s brand identity as well
  • corresponding brand elements to maximize the brand’s equity
  • Ensure compliance to brand guidelines across all marketing campaigns and outputs
  • Participate in the planning of external and internal conferences and fairs, in terms of marketing, brand activation and positioning
  • Provide training or guidance to HBKU employees when required on the implementation of brand guidelines
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or Communications major or related field.
  • 6-8 years of full-time work experience in branding and marketing, preferably in higher education
  • Experienced in dealing with creative agencies.
  • Excellent knowledge of brand management and the ability to apply good design principles.
  • Creative in using branding to contribute to an innovative and dynamic student experience and campus
  • community.
  • Highly customer-oriented, able to demonstrate concern for student needs and preferences in decisions made, policies implemented, and employee training in consultation with students, staff and faculty.
