The Retail Relations Officer acts as the dedicated marketing focal point for retail tenants across The Pearl Island and Gewan Island following completion of leasing and operational onboarding processes. The role is responsible for managing all tenant‑related marketing coordination, communication, and support, ensuring retailers are effectively integrated into Company marketing ecosystem, campaigns, events, promotional initiatives, and communication channels. The position serves as the primary liaison between retailers and the Marketing Department for all marketing‑related requests, opportunities, concerns, campaigns, and activation support, with the objective of enhancing retailer visibility, engagement, participation, retention, and overall tenancy experience, while maximizing the value and benefit of marketing support initiatives.
KeyAccountabilities
- Act as the primary marketing point of contact for retail tenants following leasing and operational handover.
- Maintain ongoing communication with retailers regarding marketing opportunities, campaigns, activations, and promotional support.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with tenants to enhance engagement and participation in UDC marketing initiatives.
- Support retailers with marketing‑related inquiries, concerns, and coordination requirements.
- Conduct regular outreach and engagement with tenants to understand marketing needs and identify collaboration opportunities.
- Work closely with Marketing & Events teams to maximize retailer integration within activations and destination campaigns.
- Support retailer integration across social media, website listings, CRM communications, newsletters, push notifications, and other marketing platforms, while ensuring information remains updated across relevant communication channels.
- Assist in the development and consolidation of retailer marketing support kits and tiered benefit frameworks, in coordination with internal stakeholders, to enhance transparency, accountability, and alignment between marketing support initiatives and the associated short‑ and long‑term commercial value delivered to retailers.
- Coordinate the issuance of quarterly retail newsletters communicating key initiatives, operational enhancements, achievements, upcoming events, campaigns, and participation opportunities, reinforcing the value of UDC's investment in destination marketing initiatives aimed at driving footfall, retailer visibility, engagement, and overall destination activation.
Minimum of 3 years as a retailer relationship coordinator or specialist.
Experience in stakeholder relationship management.
