As a Charge Nurse (RN), you'll provide clinical leadership while remaining actively involved in nursing care within an international healthcare environment in Qatar. You'll oversee daily nursing activities, support staffing and patient flow, mentor nursing personnel, and contribute to quality improvement while working closely with medical, administrative, and ancillary teams.
AssignmentThis position is based onsite in Qatar and requires relocation. This is an unaccompanied international assignment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical nursing care while leading and supporting nursing staff, serving as a resource and mentor for clinical practice and decision-making.
- Oversee daily nursing activities, staffing levels, staff utilization, and scheduling to support clinical and operational needs.
- Monitor the quality of nursing services through staff oversight, chart reviews, quality audits, competency monitoring, and continuous improvement activities.
- Support patient administration and care coordination, including appointments, medical records, patient flow, transportation, medical escorts, and coordination across designated care areas.
- Assist with nursing policies and procedures, staff orientation and refresher training, departmental reporting, and coordination of equipment and supply needs.
- Coordinate and participate in mass-casualty training and twice-yearly drills and remain available for on-call coverage.
- Graduate of an approved accredited school of professional nursing or home-country equivalent, with current RN licensure.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a clinical nurse.
- Ability to obtain provided Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Life Support (PALS) certifications.
- Ability to obtain a base security clearance.
- Ability to relocate to Qatar for an unaccompanied assignment; a valid passport from your Country of Record is required before relocation and must remain current throughout the assignment.
- Nursing leadership experience with an emphasis on team and scheduling management.
- Previous experience in a military hospital and/or experience or working knowledge of medical command.
- Experience with mass-casualty planning and execution, Occupational Health or medical surveillance programs, and/or intensive care or emergency room settings.
- Clinical specialty certification and/or advanced education.
- Medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
