Nurse Practitioner

Job Description Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including physical examinations, medical history reviews, and diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries,and conditions within the scope of practice and in collaboration with physicians.
• Develop and implement patient care plans based on assessment findings, evidence-based practice guidelines, and patient preferences.
• Prescribe medications, therapies, and interventions as appropriate, and monitor patient responses and progress.
• Provide patient education and counseling on preventive care, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals, to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records, documentation, and reports in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research projects, and continuing education activities to enhance clinical practice and patient care outcomes.
• Adhere to professional and ethical standards of nursing practice and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, fostering teamwork and professional growth.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Valid nursing license and registration in Qatar.
• Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Advanced clinical knowledge and proficiency in nursing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and interact compassionately with patients and families.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
• Knowledge of healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations in Qatar.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic and multicultural healthcare environment.
