Role Description The Pet Groomer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar. The Pet Groomer will perform daily grooming services such as bathing, drying, trimming, brushing, and styling coats for a variety of pets, with attention to safety and comfort. Responsibilities include checking pets in, discussing grooming preferences with guardians, and recommending suitable grooming options or products. The role involves monitoring pets for signs of stress or health concerns, maintaining clean and hygienic grooming stations, and following all safety and sanitation protocols.
The Pet Groomer will also support a welcoming environment by providing courteous customer service, handling bookings, and collaborating with the team to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Strong Animal Care and Animal Welfare skills, with the ability to handle pets safely and compassionately.
- Demonstrated Pet Care experience, including bathing, brushing, trimming, and basic grooming techniques.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact clearly and professionally with pet guardians and team members.
- Knowledge of pet grooming tools, equipment use, and basic health and hygiene practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift pets safely, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience as a pet groomer or in a pet care setting is preferred.
- Willingness to follow established safety procedures and learn new grooming methods and styles.
- Basic English language skills required; additional languages are an advantage, especially Arabic.
