Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Grounds Maintenance Technician (OCN) to maintain and enhance the outdoor environment surrounding healthcare facilities in Al Sailiya, Qatar
. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, physically fit, and committed to ensuring a clean, safe, and visually appealing landscape throughout the year. This role involves a mix of physical labor, horticulture knowledge, and operation of landscaping equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the grounds surrounding healthcare facilities, including lawns, gardens, and hardscapes.
• Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, weeding, and planting.
• Operate landscaping equipment safely, including lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and other tools.
• Ensure proper irrigation system maintenance and watering schedules.
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides as required, following safety guidelines and regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of exterior areas, including walkways, parking lots, and common areas.
• Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Assist with seasonal landscaping projects and improvements.
• Adhere to all Health, Safety & Environmental policies and report any incidents to the supervisor.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or related field, preferably in the construction or healthcare industry

• Strong knowledge of horticulture, landscaping practices, and plant care.
• Experience operating landscaping equipment and tools safely.
• Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions and handle heavy equipment.
• Good attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to identify potential hazards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
• Candidates must be available locally in Qatar
