Overview
The Concrete Checker Ready Mix is responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and verifying ready-mix concrete quality at site to ensure compliance with approved mix designs, project specifications, and safety standards.
Responsibilities- Check and verify ready-mix concrete delivery tickets (grade, quantity, time, and mix code).
- Ensure concrete is delivered and poured within allowable time limits
. - Conduct on-site concrete tests such as:
- Slump test
- Casting of concrete cubes/cylinders
- Monitor pouring, placing, and compaction of concrete.
- Ensure proper curing methods are followed.
- Coordinate with batching plant, site engineers, and supervisors for quality issues.
- Identify and report non-conformance in concrete quality.
- Maintain daily concrete pour records and test reports
. - Follow safety rules and quality procedures at all times.
- Knowledge of concrete grades, mix designs, and testing procedures
. - Good coordination and communication skills.
- Requires working during concrete pours, including extended hours if required.
