Position Overview

Manager Compliance Monitoring – Operations is a senior aviation compliance and quality role with Qatar Airways, based in Doha, Qatar. The position is responsible for managing operational compliance monitoring activities, leading internal and external audits, and ensuring that Qatar Airways’ operational departments and subcontracted agencies comply with regulatory, safety, and quality requirements.

• Manage and deliver the operational audit program, including audit planning, execution, reporting, and follow‑up activities
• Conduct internal operational safety audits and external audits of subcontracted service providers
• Lead opening and closing audit meetings with Qatar Airways nominated persons and senior management
• Communicate audit findings clearly to internal and external stakeholders and guide auditees on root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Evaluate corrective and preventive action plans to ensure effectiveness and regulatory compliance
• Collate compliance monitoring data and prepare monthly and quarterly audit summaries, including overdue non‑conformities
• Participate in assigned safety and security action groups and present compliance monitoring outcomes
• Coordinate and manage findings issued by external regulatory authorities such as Civil Aviation Authorities, EASA ramp inspections, and QCAA
• Liaise with departmental managers to ensure timely closure of regulatory findings and implementation of corrective actions
• Support continuous improvement of the compliance monitoring and quality assurance framework

• Minimum of seven years of airline operational experience in areas such as cabin crew, ground operations, flight operations, engineering, flight dispatch, flight safety, or quality assurance
• Strong experience in compliance monitoring, quality assurance, or operational auditing within an airline environment
• Proven ability to write clear audit reports and professional business communications
• Solid knowledge of airline operational manuals, procedures, and documentation
• Strong understanding of civil aviation regulations and IOSA standards
• Working knowledge of quality assurance principles and audit methodologies
• Experience as an IOSA, ISAGO, or DAQCP auditor within the air transport industry
• Experience as an airline lead quality auditor conducting independent audits
• Ability to work effectively within cross‑functional teams and regulated environments
