Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in KAHRAMAA (KM) Water Projects
  .
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, quality management systems, and KAHRAMAA standards.
• Experience in preparing and implementing Project Quality Plans, Method Statements (MS), and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
• Familiarity with ISO Quality Management Systems, ISMS requirements, and risk management procedures.
• Excellent reporting, documentation, and communication skills.

• Liaises with relevant departments and sections for establishing and implementing the quality guidelines as per KM standards.
• Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation based on engineering concepts and standards
• Prepares quality control reports and close out any NCR for Management review and action
• Monitors and follows-up corrective actions from Kahramaa Line Department for the findings raised during Quality Control Inspections
• Conducts technical evaluations of new tenders
• Conducts quality control audits required at the site
• Prepares the quality requirements and standards to be followed for all projects after receipt of basic concept report
• Prepare project quality plan, MS and ITP for each project in liaison to established quality standards
• Liaises with Kahramaa line department to ensure the latest quality standards and best practices are being followed at all times
• Reviews the relevant reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual etc.) to analyze the progress of quality control activities against established plan/ schedule
• Insure compliance for quality management ISO – ISMS and risk management police & certification.
• Carries out and ensures compliance of all activities within the Quality Assurance and Control Section are in line with Kahramaa health and safety regulations

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in water transmission and distribution network projects.
• Ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, and project teams.
• Proficiency in quality documentation and audit processes.
