QA QC Inspector - Mechanical

Responsibilities

• Perform QA QC inspections for mechanical installation, fabrication, piping, structural and equipment works.
• Verify materials, dimensions and workmanship against approved drawings, specifications and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
• Conduct inspections during installation, hydrotesting, pressure testing, alignment and mechanical completion activities.
• Witness and document inspection and testing activities.
• Prepare inspection reports, punch lists, NCRs and quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project quality procedures, client specifications and international standards.
• Coordinate with construction teams, supervisors and client inspectors for inspection activities.
• Monitor corrective actions and verify closure of quality issues.
• Maintain QA QC records and support project documentation for handover.

• Degree/Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of QA/QC Mechanical Inspection experience in Oil & Gas projects.
• Experience in piping, structural, pressure vessels, rotating/static equipment, or mechanical installation is preferred.
• Good knowledge of ASME, API, ISO and relevant international codes and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, isometrics and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements and QA/QC documentation.
• CSWIP 3.1 / BGAS / API / NACE (added advantage).

Contract - 4 months & extendable.
