QC Inspector (Welding) – Doha, Qatar
We are seeking a QC Inspector (Welding) to work with a major Oil & Gas Company in Qatar.
Qualifications & Requirements- Mechanical/Metallurgical/Materials Engineering degree or technical diploma with experience in quality control in a multi‑discipline construction environment.
- Preferably formal training in QC and membership with a recognized chartered or other professional institution.
- Certifications:
CSWIP 3.2, AWS‑SCWI Sr. Welding Inspector, NDT Level‑II (ASNT, ISO, etc.) – mandatory. Preferred: BGAS Grade‑2 or NACE Level‑2 Painting Inspector certificate. Equivalent internationally recognized certifications are acceptable. - Experience:
10years for bachelor’s degree holders and 15years for technical diploma holders in a similar position in the oil & gas sector. - Experience in GCC is desirable.
- Hands‑on working experience related to storage tanks, piping, pipeline welding inspection and testing; installation of static and rotating equipment.
- Perform complex QC inspections of welding activities on major oil & gas/petrochemical construction projects.
- Work closely with contractor personnel and multidisciplinary teams in a multicultural environment.
- Ensure compliance with quality control requirements and testing procedures.
